This is the GWR Castle Class 4-6-0 no 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe running fast and quiet (with no rolling stock) on its way back to Tyseley this evening. The rolling stock went back up the line about an hour before.
The train would have done a reversing manoeuvre around the Greenford Triangle, so that it was facing in the right direction.
